Your daily experience is filtered through a belief system that is far from accurate

Most of you must understand that your daily experience is filtered through a belief system that is far from accurate. Your experiences reflect faithfully those beliefs so there is no reason to question what to you seems invisible. You are simply reacting. At the very heart of your culture is the belief in evil, which is pervasive, intrusive, and you ultimately feel invaded constantly, with no course of action to fight it. To you, evil is real for you could see it with your eyes, with no seeming good that is visible to counteract it. You fight against it with hatred and anger. So your God’s, naturally follow your inclinations, they to are seen as vengeful, angry, and cruel.

Your lives are not measured in success, wealth, or prosperity. The measure of you, is the recognition of your integrity as beings. The very basic integrity of your molecules and cells to grow expand, and fulfill desires. To label yourself inherently evil is to undermine this very integrity and label it bad. Your conscious mind is meant to assess how you are doing in your life conditions, and relay this back to your fundamental core being who then shoots forth energy for creative purposes in those directions. If you are sending faulty messages, you simply create more of the same.

You would not say a flower is evil, yet it is made up of the same integrity that you are. A flower does not hold false beliefs about itself, so it does not create what you would call evil situations for itself.

Independence is not a measure of any physical things, to achieve true freedom is to free your minds of misconceptions and fake ideas. At the very least, learn to form your own, and let others to theirs.

Fear is the belief in your very being open to assault from outside influences you have little to no control over. Fear is the belief in evil that is within you. That your very spirit is assailed by forces that are cruel, and you must thereby fight against unnatural tendencies in every moment.

And since you will always transpose your basic ideas and beliefs onto physical objects, you will meet those ideas as symbols, seemingly very real, and taken as truth. There is no other way.

The belief in evil will then show you its many faces, from health problems, to poverty, to all manners of destruction.

Effective use of the Imagination

We are back again today with another message, and we hope our dear readers can use it creatively. So again we will cover the involuntary processes of creation in your terms, the materialization of physical events and experience.

Now, your body was meant to tag along, not be the leader of the pack. Your bodies are so amazing to you, they mesmerize your as do your objects. Your creations, you say, are facts, that is, they exist independently from you even as you measure them and agree on their space. You are so entranced by physical life, that you let it control you, period. For in its magnificence you bow before it, and it tames you into a coma.

The body dear friends is the creation of the imagination, and in your limited understanding you place corporeal images above your own minds, believing in the integrity of the creation itself over the creator.

The body is a vehicle.

Your bodies were, and are, meant to follow your thoughts, so if your life is being created in ways in which you disapprove, no motion of your vehicles in conflict with your minds will change the situation for the better, there are no exceptions.

Conflicts and divisions in your head, which you all have will weaken the body, as the mechanisms try to adapt to the conflicting conditions always following the beliefs, of course this stress leads to the common cold and in your terms illness.

You cannot press against your hardships, believing you are unworthy of better pay, lets say, and then move your body to a better paying job, it will not work, and you will be under duress. You cannot think one way, and put forth action the other. You can not lie to yourself forever.

You create what is best for you, when your beliefs are, pure. That is, creative use of your imagination, emotions and thoughts are in line, harmony, and your body then follows along, as a tool of experience. Your eyes can behold the creation in all of its glory.

Effective use of the imagination is a clean thought, followed by internal pictures of an object or event, thereby generating pleasant emotions. You feel good.

You do this, and then let it go. No action needed that feels forced or that comes from the conscious mind. Several times a day you paint a pure picture and feel good, then let it go. You will find your conscious thoughts chattering this and that, do this or do that. Say NO, use Greene’s release, but do not move your body consciously. After some time, having these pure thought sessions, you will automatically move the vehicle in line with the creation, and experience it.

STOP YOURSELF FROM THINKING HOW, WHY WHEN AND WHERE.

We will say this, you do not concern yourself with regulating your breath, yet it is the result of pure internal thought that keeps you alive. Playfully paint your dream pictures until they stir up emotion, and let it go. That is the way of it, there is no other. Surely enough the day will come when your body moves with passion as those mind paintings come alive as experience. The body will follow, do not let it over rule your thoughts, it cannot be…

Your body is yours, you are not your bodies, yet you are both intimate friends. (End)

Consciousness has no limits other than the identity it has adopted.

If for example all consciousness was obliterated except for say, one simple unit, that one unit could recreate the entire universe from itself. So we must say there are no true boundaries or limits, except for the formation in human terms, of an ego identity as it first opens its eyes and has to deal with its physical body. In certain terms the consciousness learns that it bumps into things, thus it is not the things it bumps into. Identity is born, and the awareness confines itself to jail, in those terms it becomes aware of a self, and of course other selves that seem to be unlike it.

In terms of a jail per se, if consciousness acting within a body has an identity that does not cooperate, humans put the encased culprit in a jail, which then limits and yet mirrors that individuals feelings of smallness and entrapment. So the outside always reflects the inside. In fact the two are joined.

Consciousness floating freely has no single identity, for each unit contains the whole, and is the whole. Yet as it first enters its body, born to physical life, it is now shocking, as eyes open it sees things that it was once apart of as separate.

The purpose of life for these units of life is to break free of the boundaries as you see in youth when the body is fresh and the consciousness is not yet entranced by its vehicle. Also in old age as the vehicle breaks down the consciousness has no choice but to take focus away from physical life, when it no longer can operate within its confines.

This consciousness is born into a space time sector, but one must never forget the dream-drama of such an experience. For the movie reel has a full movie contained on it, yet for it to make sense and give you pleasure you must run it from start to finish in an environment that takes time.

Money now, is consciousness, say a portion of your own, as it expands or contracts in regards to your identity. You may be very wealthy, yet your personal identity, or self idea is poor, and small, and thus that will reflect in your space that you create. You may have little money, yet your identity is expansive in a dream way, so you will live in better conditions, and happier than the above wealthy example.

So as you send out a portion of yourself to meet a friend, your identity, you also imbue money with that same identity, you give it your stamp. And according to your identities growth through time, so does the attraction in proportionate quantity of physical things, great and small in space, in regards to the limits of self at any given time.

You as a human will feel it, as you may say I have outgrown this or that. I no longer feel comfort here or there. I cannot fit into this space, you see.

Mostly, we see humans over identify with identity, they may become stuck, but consciousness as we have seen is more than identity, and that self will feel the yearning to be more, as it always does. So we might suggest an examination periodically of identity, to be helpful in expanding life to its fullest.

The Nature of Chronic Beliefs

If I had more money – If only I were better educated, healthier, younger, or had a pleasing personality – If I were better looking, thinner, more outgoing, if only I didn’t get a raw deal in life – If only………

The above statements are chronic.

You are meant to recognize your beliefs, consciously, at some point in your life. You then can take a look at their value, and change them if you wish. You are meant to also realize that you can change them; you can change any part of your life for the better, that you do have the power to create any aspect of your life. The following are examples of conflicting beliefs, and ones that many of you hold:

You must remember firstly, that you cannot take your physical objects with you when you go. You cannot take your body, your money, or your possessions. When you do go, you take your ideas. Over the eons your ideas build upon themselves composing a symphony of personality. In your current life, then, you must suppose that physical objects represent ideas. A counterpart of emotional archetypes within a physical reality.

You must understand that objects are ideas, nothing more. We will stay with objects here, and not events. Since most of your lives are spent concerned with your intimate space, and how you fill it.

Now you may say, “I want more money”, but most of you would find money useless without objects to purchase. So at the same time as saying – I want more money – You are saying “I hate money because it stands in the way of my objects.

You hate that which stands between you and a loved (desired) object.

You wish for 100$ to purchase a new coat, where the coat is the desired end, and the money mere opposition. Here you have conflicting beliefs that you are unaware of.

You do not wish for $100 so you could then stare at it, post it on the wall and look at it. Money is an idea, you cannot take your paper with you, yet you can and do take the idea.

Clarifying your desires is key to understanding your beliefs and creations.

Say you want a new red sports car, the $30,000 it costs to purchase you do not want, yet you pray for the money instead of envisioning the object. By doing so, you are then free to receive it in miraculous ways other than financing it. Tie this desire into your beliefs of work, overtime to earn the money, you can then see why you hate your job, simply because it stands between you, your money, and your car…….

There is much more to any life than your eye can see, you in fact are more than your eyes and ears. For generations you have been told of beliefs – thoughts – desires, yet you have not accepted responsibility for all of it. The good, you accept, and the bad you curse. You cannot curse your soul and do it justice. You adulterate any intent you may have had.

You create you life – your beliefs are your own – you are the producer and the actors. You set the stage and adjust the lighting. With intent you set the mood, consciously. You then take a seat in the audience and forget your hand in it, period.

I tell you the money example above, so you may see the interweaving of beliefs, thoughts, and ideas with events and experiences and how simply you can misguide your life. You must understand :

My life is a portrait of what I believe, my life is an idea projected into space and time. By changing my ideas (beliefs) I change my life. I am in charge.

If you fail to recognize this, then your beliefs are automatically fleshed out long-term. Your beliefs will not ask you for permission on how you should act, you will simply live them. Moreover, your daily thoughts will follow suit, forcing you to say “Why do these thoughts haunt me so?”

You may believe if you are a man, that at age 40 you had better start with regular prostate exams, which is taught in grade school. At age 40 you find yourself with checkups meant to prevent illness, when the susceptibility was given life many years ago. This is not a fact of nature, nor is it well intent of the friendly medical community. This is a chronic belief, carried dormant for years, activated at 40 and beyond, triggering the probability for disease, period.

A belief is not meant to carry you through life unconsciously, acted upon as if under hypnosis at predetermined time schedules, unless you acquiesce.

You know of chronic physical illness, for example someone with arthritis finds no relief other than medication, and expects to carry this disease either in remission or not throughout their life.

A chronic belief is unrecognized, acted upon, and fueled by exterior circumstances, reinforcing the belief and creating more of the same. Arthritics expect the pain, and have given over their power to long-term conditions in which they can only hope to manage.

Chronic beliefs are beliefs learned as children through young adults that remain effective, carried out as commands for a lifetime. All the while, you condemn your creations to bad luck, fate, and accept outside conditions as physical facts. Condemning your creation condemns yourself as your value and quality of life decreases.

It can be illness, relationships, personal problems, financial or any uncomfortable issue you now face. It can be a life sentence.

Along with your passions, what you enjoy to do in life, your purpose is to recognize your involvement in what you create! Not as chronic, but as a temporary condition with an opportunity for change. That you can change, in fact were meant to change, any unhappy experience for the better.

So stop in your tracks – look at what you face this moment – and accept no condition as permanent, period. Understanding this statement, can lead you to at least lessen its grip upon you, and help you to change life for the better.

And lastly, and finally, before I take my leave because I do not wish to write a book on this forum, I give you the practical application in physical terms:

I remind you of your magical abilities:

You desire a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and that idea you find exciting, delicious, and satisfying. You can picture it, and it makes you happy ! If you have the ingredients, you go put them together, if not – you go to the store and buy them.

Next thing you know, your holding your object and eating it…STOP

YOU HAVE CREATED THE OBJECT OF YOUR DESIRE AND YOU HOLD IT IN YOUR VERY HANDS. YOU ARE MAGIC, BUT YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THIS, BECAUSE TO CREATE IS A NATURAL PROCESS.

I tell you – there is no difference between creating your sandwich or a castle to live in.

Important : You did not desire the $4 for the ingredients, no matter if you didnt have it, you desired the object itself. You did not say ” I want a peanut butter sandwich, I need to create $4, how will I do that?’ If you wish for the money itselfyou will sit and stare at it, and have no sandwich – you must understand this.

You will not desire to be rich, and then sit amongst your money in a tent in the middle of the forest and roll around in it.

You will project yourself in your thoughts into a world of your making, amongst the objects you desire and having the things you wish to have – not the money for them.

You will then firstly – create your daily lifestyle in your castle (thoughts), with cars and furniture, good food and friends, purposeful work (swimming in the pool) – And your desire (strongly) for your objects will attract the money neededNot the other way around.

Take note ! Look for the belief conflicts – Did you say “I dont deserve a peanut butter sandwich?” or “I will never be able to have its ingredients?” NO ! If you are poor and hungry you will not sit and stare at pictures of money, you cannot eat that. You will picture and desire FOOD.

Desire a life ! Desire a lifestyle ! Desire it with clarity and purity as you did with your sandwich – And money will find its way toward you for its fulfillment – it is not the other way.

I want you to understand, and I speak generally to you all..

You do not have to be in the moment, you do not have to be in the future, or past, you only need to be. (do not over analyze concepts and ideas)

As you are being, you are walking, laughing, loving, crying, eating, touching, feeling…

You are by nature, inherent, a natural extension of worth.

But, you also project a future self (thoughts, ideas) – before you get there. And when you meet, you are sometimes dissatisfied.

You cannot – not – create. So delink, unbridge, disconnect any belief (that does not feel good) from your desires, and just……..DESIRE…..Just desire. Because you deserve, period.

Throw your hands to the sky and dance ! Feel your own energy and vitalityfeel, feel, feel. Everything you are is of value, you can sit and do nothing ! And you are valuable. Does a flower think ” Should I grow apples today, or be something im not? Will anyone ever see me, should I even open my petals? What shall I do today to prove my worth and value?”

Lastly, If you say “I desire more money, I would like this and that !” And then you hear or feel ” But I do not…I cannot..It doesn’t..It wont…” Or you FEEL badly -

In that case, you are given, you are always given, the obstacles themselves, translated into ideas – as feelings or thoughts, to clear – so that you may have your desires when the blocks are removed. No exceptions

Most of you have asked – silently or aloud – So here it is given, in terms of abundance (long read) :

I will tell you after all is said, I will not debate with your beliefs and fears – Although I am sure this will trigger a hardy discussion, I suggest you stay true to this post, and examine those fears that shout out in your mind, those firstly are your psychological blocks – recognize them.

Ask and it is given
Allow it to be given
Give it to all others who ask

Ask not with prejudice, ask not with jealousy – Ask not with restrictions, limits, judgments, and boundaries. Ask not in correlation with fear, beliefs or mind chatter.

Ask not if you deserve – if you are worthy – and yes, pit your desire not up against VALUE.

You are valuable, do not prove it – Ask and do not think you are taking from others, food from the starving, ask not that you may have and worry over thy neighbor. Do not steal for in the stealing you steal IDEAS, and you do not know which is yours – Do not confuse your intent.

Allow others everything you desire and more. What may be given to you – be given to all others ten fold. May the rich get richer, may the poor get richer -

Ask not while you covet – Ask not that you may take ONE SINGLE THING from another, for you cannot.

Worry not over paranoia, that you may lose anything tomorrow – Worry not over investments, security, or old age -

Give, Give, Give without question or moral value, give without conditions and judgement – GIVE TO THE WEALTHY

Separate your beliefs, all of them, from your asking – Do not ask based upon any belief – Do not mix beliefs with intent

Everyone and every living creature shall have wealth, period. If they choose.

Ask and it is created
Ask and it is given
Ask and you shall have

DO NOT ASK BASED ON VALUE JUDGMENTS OR BELIEF SYSTEMS – WHAT CAN I DO OF VALUE? DO NOT QUESTION YOUR INHERENT INTEGRITY AS A CREATURE OF THE PLANET – You do not have to force value, you do not have to be of value, you are born valuable -

You asked and were given life – your planet made room for you, period. You do not question your integrity to breathe – You were born with value – And you will naturally resent anything to the contrary -

DO NOT MIX BELIEF SYSTEMS WITH THE ASKING – learn to examine your thoughts.

The law of attraction, as given, may you be blessed with abundance.

How Your Core Beliefs Shape Your Experience of Life, and What You Can Do About Them

 

What you believe is the crucial aspect that determines your physical experience of life.

Core beliefs are those things you just know and trust to be true – they serve
as an internal ‘guide to life’ – telling you how to behave and react to the world.

Yet core beliefs were only meant to be temporary – to be used until we were mature enough to take charge of our own life.

The good news is that as when you release a core belief, a majikal Core Truth automatically comes to replace it. You will discover that core beliefs are not complicated at all, but instead simple, and extremely easy to access and rewrite.

you still believe it.”

Your core beliefs dictate the life you live.

  • Who you are
  • What you think of yourself
  • What you are and are not allowed to do and be
  • How to behave and react to people,
    experiences and the world
  • What to expect
  • Your success
  • What you can and cannot have

 
Because a child’s role is to learn how to live as a human being, we used all that we saw, heard and experienced to form a set of core beliefs about who and what we are, the world and our place in it.

These beliefs were not chosen, but instead reflect the conclusions that a child reached about their particular experiences from their limited perception.

Your core beliefs are neither dysfunctional nor skewed. They are valid conclusions that were reached by a child, from that child’s current perception of an experience at that time. It is, however, inappropriate and often dysfunctional to filter your entire adult experience according to the life rules of an 8 year old.

 
Important Core Belief Principle 2


“If you were able to rewind your life and watch it in slow motion from its very beginning, you would be able to see the key times when certain beliefs were formed and you would understand why you developed those beliefs.”

Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT)

Children are egocentric; they do not possess the ability to understand that their family circumstances are not their fault.

Young children believe everything is their fault: abuse, neglect, financial difficulties, or even parent’s relationship problems. If there are any family issues, children believe it is their fault, and that they are bad or inferior in some way because of it.

Every family has problems, as there is no perfect parent. Therefore, all children develop mistaken core beliefs about themselves, the world and their place in it. “Mistaken core beliefs cause a multitude of psychological, emotional and relational issues.”

A practical example of this idea might be how you interpret and integrate an experience like the divorce of your parents. This event may lead you to conclude “it is my fault“, therefore create the belief “I am a bad person and do not deserve good things.” You may develop a tendency to punish yourself and sabotage your success without any idea that you are doing so.

“I’ve never felt this ever before, and I had counseling for the abuse and thought that was all in order. I couldn’t believe when I started to cry because I really thought I’d dealt with it. Now I feel empty like something’s missing inside me Yikes! Wow, that is amazing!”

Greene’s Release Result

Naturally, the people who endure horrific life experiences (neglect, abuse, assault, death of a loved one, and natural disasters for example) formed harsh conclusions (core beliefs) to base their self concepts and life on.

These conclusions, along with the expected emotional responses and the shock of having had this experience are stored in the subconscious.

In effect, their entire perception of life is based on those tragic events.

The good news is that the release process addresses all components of this horrible experience – actually, these releases are the quickest and easiest to do.

 
Important Core Belief Principle 4


“I am astounded that I came up with that!

I don’t think I could have contemplated that I felt guilty for their divorce.

I’ve been punishing myself haven’t I?

I have accomplished more this week than I have in the last 2 months!”

You live what you believe. And that is where the confusion begins. “Do I believe that there is insufficient money because I am poor,” or “Am I poor because I believe there is insufficient money?”

And yet, my neighbor who believes “there is plenty of money” actually has plenty of money.

Which belief is the correct one?

The answer is both…..

Every person lives the core beliefs that they formed as a child. It is impossible to live anything else as they are your rules of life – your truth.

If you believe that no-one can love you, it is impossible to be surrounded by people who love you. If you believe that you are a failure, it is impossible to be successful. If you believe the world is a scary place, then it is impossible for you to feel safe, no matter where you are.

Why?

Your core beliefs are not stagnant ideas that merely sit in your unconscious mind. They are active, and play an important role in your everyday thoughts, feelings, actions and reactions to people and events.

  • A person who believes that they are a failure (remember that this is an unconscious belief therefore beyond their awareness), constantly hears mind chatter to support this idea “you can’t do it right”, “you are hopeless”, “you aren’t good enough.
  • They feel the emotional response whenever they hear this ‘so called truth.’ It would be very sad to think that you are a failure.
  • Their perceptions make them blind to success, and they miss opportunity after opportunity – all they can see is failure and hardship.
  • They play the role of a failure personality (without any idea that they are doing so) – expecting the worst, irresponsible with money, ignoring their finances and financial responsibility, business failure, engaging in self-defeating behaviors.

This person physically lives their core belief that they are a failure.

 
Important Core Belief Principle 5


“Oh My! They were wrong! After beating myself up for 30 years I’ve just realized there is nothing wrong with me after all. I can’t stop smiling.”

Greene’s Release Result

Core beliefs were only meant to be temporary – to be used until we were mature enough to decide what to believe for ourselves.

We cleverly set ourselves up to realize this. At some point everyone gets sick of living with the hardship their beliefs create (even thought they are unaware of this), and screams out “enough!”, and then begins the search for answers.

The good news is that as soon as you release a core belief with the Greene’s Release Technique, a Core Truth automatically comes to replace it.

  • When you release your belief that you are imperfect – you hear and just know the truth of how special you really are.
  • When you release your belief that you are a failure – you hear and just know the truth that anything you do will succeed.
  • When you release the belief that love hurts – you hear and just know the truth that love is the most amazing part of life.
  • When you release the belief that people always hurt you – your pain will vanish and you hear and just know that you are safe and loved.

This is Your Life to Live Your Way so it is your choice to live the ramifications of beliefs that make you happy or the ramifications of beliefs that make you miserable.

 
Important Core Belief Principle 6


There is an abundance of intellectual literature about life, the unconscious mind, core beliefs, and how to change them – from the perspective of our rational thinking mind.

  • It makes rational sense to investigate and identify your core beliefs.
  • It makes rational sense to watch for the interaction and impact that your core beliefs have.
  • It makes rational sense to decide to ‘let go’ of dysfunctional beliefs once they are identified.
  • It makes rational sense that thoughts and core beliefs are the same.
  • It makes rational sense to consciously ‘tell’ yourself to believe something different.

Yet core beliefs reside beyond our conscious awareness – in the unconscious mind. Our logical mind can only investigate and modify their symptoms, and not the actual core belief.

Often, those who have worked to ‘release’ their emotional wounds and core beliefs, are surprised to discover that these emotions and beliefs (which have merely been tucked away and not released, as many techniques claim to do) are still creating havoc in their daily life and can resurface with the same level of strength and distress at any time.

The unconscious mind is nothing like we thought. And that has been the problem all along – thinking and rationalizing.

While the conscious mind thinks and rationalizes, the unconscious mind feels, which is the key to gaining access to our core beliefs, fears, memories and storehouse of emotions that create our everyday life experiences.

The difference between intellectualizing core beliefs and experiencing them first hand in the unconscious mind is like night and day. However, it cannot make rational sense until experienced.

Think of a scientist, spending day after day investigating the cells of a human brain under an electronic microscope. Carefully analyzing each minute neuron and glial cell.

1. The past is stored within.

Your unconscious mind acts as a memory keeper, storing every thought, feeling, emotion, conclusion (core belief), and circumstance.

What else could you be?

Those events happened – of course they shaped your internal world views and perceptions of yourself, and people in general.

3. Every emotional response to painful experiences is stored within you.

It may be 5, 10 or even 50 years later and you wonder why you still feel the emotion as strongly today as the day of the event – thinking there must be something wrong with you, or perhaps hating yourself for acting in such a silly way.

There is nothing abnormal or wrong with you.

4. These emotions and memories are stored in your unconscious mind to act as protectors.

They are merely trying to prevent your having to endure another horrific experience, so they jump up to warn of the possibility of impending danger or repeat situation. They are just trying to stop you from hurting.

Why Do Some People Get Over’ Their Past And Others Don’t?

People neither understand, or know how to deal with emotions in general. Spontaneous emotional responses to unpleasant experiences make us feel bad, therefore it makes logical sense to want to repress this symptom since we don’t know how to heal it.

Why Can’t I ‘Get Over‘ My Past?

This belief is why most people don’t even attempt to get over their past.

You are told to “learn to accept it” – but it is impossible to just accept the events that occurred, as if they didn’t matter. It is impossible to tell yourself not to feel the emotional pain that you endured, and still do.

Many people hold onto the anger, resentment, and feel that until there is some form of justice or acknowledgment, that they must hold onto it – otherwise they are saying that it was okay that this happened to them. When it wasn’t and could never be okay.

People face a no win situation, so the best they can hope for is to find strategies to “suppress the pain” and “get on with their lives as best as they can.

Grief is the perfect example. These people are told up front “you’ll never get over it“, so they automatically conclude this is a fact of life (creating a core belief to live by), and cannot even contemplate that there is a way to overcome their pain – as this contradicts what they know to be truth (their core belief).

How Greene’s Release Changed My Life

 

“This is my AMAZING story. Well, its amazing to me :)

I feared spiders for as long as I can remember. It got worse as I got older, until I was on the verge of a panic attack just from seeing one run across the carpet. At 16, I went to see a hypnotist/NLP practitioner.

This guy is no joker, he’s now one of the most successful hypnotists in the UK. I booked a one-on-one session and he talked me into a trance and gave me different ways to look at spiders… giving them personalities, hearing the happy Looney Tunes music when I saw them, etc. He probably placed other suggestions I wasn’t aware of or have since forgotten about.

I left that day and managed to touch a very small spider in my bathroom. I convinced myself I was cured. I wanted so much to be free. But it wasn’t long before I met another creepy crawly and felt my heartrate rushing once again. I acted calmer than before, but deep down I knew it was just a brave front.

Then I began having night terrors in which I woke up screaming in the middle of the night, seeing spiders in my bedroom. The screaming was an involuntary response, as was leaping out of bed and thrashing around the room.

Unfortunately, I was conscious of and remembered all of it. After a few minutes the the hallucinations would dissolve and I would “wake up” to reality. This didn’t stop the experience being truly, utterly terrifying.

Then – just recently – I found a new way to talk to the subconscious mind, called Greene’s Release. Janet Greene (the creator) explained that the hypnosis had merely suppressed my phobia on a conscious level, but deep down the phobia was still there. She talked me through a release session – I can’t explain completely what happens but it is unlike hypnosis or NLP – and I felt a massive relief afterward. In fact, I felt on top of the world.

The very next day (as fate would have it!) I found a Whitetail in my living room. These are big enough to make anyone look twice and are known as attacking spiders in New Zealand, they will jump on you and bite! Normally this would whip me into a frenzy. I TRIED to feel something, anything, because I didn’t want to trick myself this time – but I felt absolutely no fear at all. I calmly got a glass and dealt with it. No rushing heartbeat, no feelings of disgust, no shuddering, or screaming, or fleeing the room for help!
